Genyo Sanzo (prototype of a wandering monk) is a prince who makes an important journey to India in the hunt for the Holy Sutra. (Sutra – a scroll of dialogues or conversations of Buddha together with his disciples.) On his manner he meets a half-girl, half-demon, half-monkey Goka, who was punished by the mighty gods a few centuries in the past for shamelessness and debauchery. With crafty, she forces Sanzo to tear off a leaf with Buddha’s seal from her crotch and finds freedom.
