The protagonist, Hikaru Touma, attends a prestigious college with a historic previous, the Izumo Non-public College. He and his buddies (largely girlfriends) are into numerous sorts of martial arts. Sooner or later Hikaru wanders into an old style constructing and finds an altar there that he as soon as noticed in a dream. Hikaru touches the mirror that lies on the altar and will get sucked someplace, accompanied by a violent flash of sunshine and an earthquake. After the earthquake ends, he hears the screams of his acquaintance, Nanami Minase, a junior highschool scholar and member of the archery circle. He rushes to her assist, and sees that she has been attacked by a spider the scale of a canine, and has already entangled her with its net. Hikaku meets the hazard head to head, and frees Nanami. Hikaru, though they’re nonetheless within the college constructing, notices that the environment isn’t what it was once: no birds chirping, no voices of individuals, and your complete campus appears utterly abandoned. However that is just the start of the adventures of those two characters…
